Send Surf Reports from Your Cell Phone-
It's easy to send surf reports using your cell phone:
- Join Twitter and add your mobile phone (if you haven't already).
- Send a text message containing your surf report to @twurfer using your cell phone (see Twitter Phone Numbers). For example, a surfer living in the U.S. would dial 40404 to send the following surf report:
@twurfer IB pier looks fun. Waist to chest with head high sets. No wind and glassy.
That's it! Your surf report automatically gets added to your surf site right here on Twurfer and it gets sent to everyone's cell phone that's "following" you on Twitter. You can also submit reports directly from your surf site. Just sign in and have at it. Sweet!

As an example, let's say you want to receive surf reports from SurfBuds on your cell phone. Just follow these simple steps:
- Join Twitter and add your mobile phone (if you haven't already).
- Click on the Follow Twurfer link under the "Get..." section on SurfBuds' surf site (Note: You can skip this step if you're already following Twurfer).
- Click on the "Follow" button.
- Click on "Device Updates" and then click the "On" radio button in the section that pops open.
- Click on the Follow SurfBuds link under the "Get..." section on SurfBuds' surf site.
- Click on the "Follow" button.
- Click on "Device Updates" and then click the "On" radio button in the section that pops open.
Piece of cake! Just make sure you keep your Twitter Notices set to "Show me @replies to the people I'm following" and you're good to go!

Yup... You can have your cell phone photos automatically appear on your surf site! Here's how:
- Join Twitter (if you haven't already).
- Sign in to TwitPic.
- Click on the Settings link in the TwitPic top nav and add your TwitPic email address to your cell phone's address book.
Your photos will now appear on your surf site. Cool! Just send them to your TwitPic email address from your cell phone and put @twurfer at the beginning of the subject line. You can also submit photos from your surf site. Just sign in and go to it!
